Aoudad :

Aoudad also known as Barbary sheep can be seen year-round however are known for their shy and brushy tendencies.  Both males and females have horns, however males will grow much larger.  They are distinct from other sheep species due to their “chaps” over their front legs.  Their breeding season usually begins in October and can extend through year end, this is normally a excellent time to pursue them as the weather is cooling off and they are much more active.
